一、「詢問，審查」。

A. 指一般的詢問：（撒上20:12 ）ἀ. τὰς γραφὰς 考查聖經，徒17:11 。μηδὲν ἀνακρίνοντες 不要問甚麼話，林前10:25,27 徒11:12 異版（為διακρῖνω）。

B. 指法庭的審問。帶被審查之人的直接受格：ἀ. τοὺς φύλακας 審問看守的人，徒12:19 。徒28:18 林前4:3,4 9:3 ;被動: 林前4:3 。獨立用法：審理一件案件，路23:14 。帶審問過的事：ἀ. περὶ πάντων τούτων 究問…一切事，徒24:8 。帶查問的原因：ἐπὶ εὐεργεσίᾳ 因為…善事，徒4:9 。

二、「審查」和「判斷，要求說明，辨別」πάντα 萬事，林前2:15 ;被動: 林前2:14,15 14:24 （帶ἐλέγχειν指出）。*
